A SONG for ELUL…

Before, After, or During a trial, a test, a battle, a victory, etc. the Prophets, Priests and/or Kings wrote a Song of praise and worship to GOD!

They knew the power of praise and worship and they understood how to shift the atmosphere giving thanks, praise and honor to the LORD GOD ALMIGHTY who moved on their behalf.

This Elul, let’s take a page out of the book and learn from them and follow their path of instruction.

Isn’t their a song of praise in your heart that you would like to offer to GOD for the year behind or the year ahead?

What is Your Song?

1 Chronicles 23 tells us that King David organized the temple musicians with 4,000 Levites assigned to the “Service of Song.” Amen.

I’m sure there is a song in each one of us, who dwells with the LORD! So, this Elul we are not only writing the vision, we are writing the song! Amen.

Immediately, Remember and Give Praise for your Victories!

Remember Your Victories!

Remember How to Sing!

GOD BLESS YOU ALL,

HOW GOD SPELLS “REMEMBER”

I’m sure everyone has had time to think about the question that I asked in class today. So, to complete our conversation … Please read the following and we will continue the discussion next week!

God Bless,

Strong’s 2142

ZAKAR means to remember, or to bring something back to remembrance.

Lets take a look at the first 5 times we find the use of the Word Dakar in scripture, expressing the meaning/concept of “to remember.”

And God remembered Noah, and every living thing, and all the cattle that was with him in the ark: and God made a wind to pass over the earth, and the waters assuaged;Genesis 8:1

And I will remember my covenant, which is between me and you and every living creature of all flesh; and the waters shall no more become a flood to destroy all flesh.” Genesis 9:15

And the bow shall be in the cloud; and I will look upon it, that I may remember the everlasting covenant between God and every living creature of all flesh that is upon the earth.” Genesis 9:16

“And it came to pass, when God destroyed the cities of the plain, that God remembered Abraham, and sent Lot out of the midst of the overthrow, when he overthrew the cities in the which Lot dwelt.” Genesis 19:29

And God remembered Rachel, and God hearkened to her, and opened her womb.” Genesis 30:22

We could go further however, by just looking at the first five appearances of Dakar in scripture, you can easily identify a pattern.

Forever vigilant, GOD keeps Himself in Remembrance of His Covenant with man.

Leviticus 26:42, 5th to the last time GOD uses Dakar in scripture, He says, “Then will I remember my covenant with Jacob, and also my covenant with Isaac, and also my covenant with Abraham will I remember; and I will remember the land.”

Emphasis remains on the covenant , GOD’s covenant with man, man’s covenant with GOD, GOD’s covenant with the land, etc….

Clearly, The LORD is Covenant-Minded.

GOD’s Covenant with YOU is important to GOD.

In Genesis 40:14 Joseph ask the Cupbearer to “remember him” to Pharaoh. He says he will consider this an act of kindness an by doing so it will be well with the Cupbearer. Of course, we remember, that the Cupbearer did not remember Joseph to Pharaoh. But today, we have another focus….

Let’s look at a few other occurrences and sequences in the use of zakar.

  • Genesis 41:9 – The Chief Butler remembers…
  • Genesis 42:9 – Joseph remembers…
  • Exodus13:3, GOD commands the people to remember
  • Exodus20:8, “Remember the Sabbath…”
  • Exodus 20:24, I cause my Name to be Remembered…
  • Exodus 32:13, Moses asks GOD to remember…

…and on and on, GOD ask us to remember Him, the covenant, the land, His People. We expect GOD to remember us, His Covenant, the land and His People.

Now let’s look at the 1st time zakar is used in reference to man…

So God created man in his own image, in the image of God created he him; male (zakar) and female (nuh-kay-vah) created he them. Genesis 1:27

Important Observation: GOD does not call man eesh or ah-dahm. He also doesn’t call woman, eesh-shah. In this verse, both male and female are being addressed in a totally different manner for the 1st time!

The male is being called to remember. Before the sin of the Garden, before disobedience, before being barred from the Garden, before He is ever created… while man is only a thought away from creation, GOD speaks into his pre-existent state, before he is blessed and given dominion over all the earth… GOD calls him to remember.

GOD is calling those things that be not (male and female), as though they were. The spirit of man is spoken into existence before the body is ever formed.

He calls man zakar.

STRONG’S 2145

Did you notice the vowel change?

At one time, the vowels patch and gamut had different sounds. The gamatz is considered a Long vowel and gamut is considered a short vowel. However, they still sound the same. The both represent the “ah” sound in Hebrew.

What this shows us is that there is no distinguishable difference in the sound of the word. To the ear, they are the same.

To be “male” is to remember.

Man is made to remember GOD.

STRONG’S 2145

So God created (the) man in his own image, in the image of God created he him; male (zakar) and female (nuh-kay-vah) created he them. Genesis 1:27

Also, just know, there’s a letter hei before ah-dahm. Remember, the hei is the direct article in Hebrew, which identifies specificity.

SIDE NOTE: GOD is creating “ha’ ah-dahm” for a specific purpose. He is not just “a” man, OR any man. HUMAN BEINGS are being created with destiny in mind, with purpose in mind, “…created He them… zakar and nuh-kay-vah.”

The Book of Deuteronomy is equivalent to the War Scroll in the Torah. This is the Book that teaches you how to wage war with the enemy. Before Moses is caught up to be with the LORD, he takes the time to “remind” all the Children of Israel how to wage war with the enemy. In Chapter 8, this is what he says….

When Yeshua took His Ministry, He wage war with ha’satan in the moutain tops with the Word from the Book of Deuteronomy. Before Joshua was commissioned to succeed Moses, Moses focus Joshua and all the tribes with the messages in the Book of Deuteronomy.

If I had more time, I would saturate this message board with scriptures connecting the dots between remembering GOD and being victorious in all your endeavors. But, you are well able to make these connections for yourselves, right?

Observation: King David is still lifting up the Name of the LORD, thousands of years AFTER his death. David kept his word to GOD to proclaim GODs Name throughout the generations. Amen.

The disciples took this Gospel to the uttermost parts of the earth because they met the call to remember, and they moved out in power above all the power……

…and the Word that they preached is still speaking in the atmosphere through His Disicples today. Amen.

Man was CREATED to Remember GOD

and to bring Him back to the remembrance of mankind. Amen.

In this Series:

HOW GOD SPELLS BEAUTIFUL…

HOW GOD SPELLS BEAUTIFUL

First you have to take another look at the Hebrew Letter peh, so that we can remember How GOD Spells Mouth…

He begins with the letter peh

He ends with the letter hei…

PRONOUNCED “PAY

The letter peh is a product of the Hebrew Letters,

Can you see the yod dangling from the letter containing letter kaf?

The letter kaf is shaped like a backwards letter C. It represents the open palm of the hand, open like a container holding something.

The yud י alludes to spirituality, humility, love, kindness prayer… (to name a few of the concepts and images that it represents).

The mouth and the power of speech were given to man to serve the ethical goals of using our speech in the service of God… to lift up, edify, encourage the Body of Christ.

The gift of speech is for the purpose to speak life, not death, or destruction… to bless and not curse, to pray for those who despitefully use you… Our tongue was meant to build up each other in kindness, not pick each other apart.

If the mouth can not carry out this most holy and ethical mission, should it be closed?

This equates to something my mom used to say. and teach daily…”If you don’t have anything good to say, be quiet.” (Thanks Mom!)

The letter hei ה (above) symbolizes the Breath of God, Revelation from God, Repentance, Blessings, Elevation Significance, Increase, Mercy…

The letter hei is filled with abundance & blessings. The mouth was created with the capacity, and the potential to carry the Word of God.

In fact, it was designed to do so!

Follow the sequence in the letters… peh the mouth opens revealing the yod inside. Yod is a HUGE letter in Hebrew. To be the smallest letter in the Hebrew language it represents the most powerful concepts. the single most important of these is humility.

GOD’s Holy language reveals that He is looking for the Yod in our mouths, in our speech, on our tongues.

When the mouth (peh) contains and maintains its yod, the hei follows. Revelations follows, insight follows. Blessings follow. Amen.

BUT GOD DID NOT STOP THERE!

He took the Word He created for ‘MOUTH’ to create another Word that expresses His concept and idea of BEAUTY.

He adds the letter yud…

The letter י  (spelled yud or yod) symbolizes humility, love, kindness, truth, goodness, Himself – All that GOD is… The Height of Spirituality…

He takes the First Letter of His Name and adds it to the mouth.

So, the question becomes… “What are we speaking?

Look at the message and the WORD Picture the letters paint together, and

In the Holy tongue and Language of GOD, it’s your words that determine your beauty.
Not your physical appearance. He’s looking at your spiritual appearance. How do you appear before GOD?

THE LANGUAGE OF GOD ITSELF CLEARLY PAINTS A PICTURE OF WHAT GOD CALLS BEAUTIFUL..

yah-peh happens when…. humility drips from your lips

When you consider how GOD speaks, before you speak.

When you surrender your thoughts, and your ways, to His thoughts and His ways…

When you don’t have to be seen and you just want Him to be seen…

When attitude is not your only means to communicate.

Beautiful does not try to control or manipulate another with their words. Their words speak life and abundance.

Our definition of beautiful is focused on the outward appearance. We look for the outward man, the outward woman… Our definition of BEAUTY places our focus on what we can see in the natural. We’re not looking at the spirit. The spirit of the person is not even in consideration in our definition of ‘Beautiful.

Are the words that come out of your mouth beautiful?

Are you beautiful? Really Beautiful? According to the Word?

Or do we have to be right every time, about everything?

Those with the virtue and character trait of “yah-peh” will not use their tongue to murmur, chide, complain, point fingers, assign blame, ridicule, reproach, judge, control, manipulate… etc.

…and when they catch themselves engage in such activity- (the flesh will runaway from you if you don’t watch it…)

aka… the tongue is ALL FLESH… NOT A BONE IN IT!

So when the Children of GOD catch themselves operating in the flesh,

They Repent.

I pray that the LORD GOD of Heaven, calls us BEAUTIFUL Everyday!

Amen.

Beauty is not what we think it is.

SERIES: HOW GOD SPELLS…

HOW GOD SPELLS FIRE…

Time moved so quickly in our last class that I wanted to make certain that you received the full message regarding the essential elements of GOD’s Fire…. I hope this helps you review the presentation thoroughly.

GOD BLESS…

The Message Begins with The aleph

The Hebrew aleph is the First letter in the Hebrew Alphabet and the first letter in the Name of GOD, Elohim.

אלהים

The aleph is composed of 2 Hebrew letters; 1 vav and 2 yods. The Hebrew Letter vav is at the center. It is drawn in a slant representing the division between the upper waters and the lower waters… the upper firmament and the lower firmament.

The letter yod rests on either side. On the right, the yod emerges from the stem of the vav and reaches up toward the Heavens. On the left, the yod emerges from the stem of the vav and reaches down into the earth.

On every level, the aleph points to a picture of our relationship with GOD.

The letter vav is the 6th letter in the Hebrew Alphabet. It represents the nail that connects. In Ancient Paleo Hebrew, the vav took its shape from the tent peg, i.e., the hook that held down the sides of the tent. Across time, in man’s desire to make writing more efficient, the vav was formed from the framework of the image of its left side.

The first appearance of the vav in the torah can be found in Genesis 1:1, where the vav connects with the aleph-tav, Yeshua (Rev 1:8, 22:13, etc).

Being that the vav is the 6th letter of the alphabet, it is associated with man/mankind by virtue of the parallels and connections that the vav has with man in scripture; man creation on the sixth day, man works for six days, man as the finished work of GOD on the sixth day, etc.

The number six and the letter vav are connected to the works of man. The most dominant meaning that they contain are of their connection and relationship with GOD. Whether it is for good or for evil. With this point in mind, the vav, i.e. man, either connects to the image of GOD or the image of the beast (the flesh). There’s a choice to be made.

When you look at the aleph, I want you to see the image of the yod, the humblest of all the letters which represents mankind, the vav, in their responsibility to pull down the Heavens… to pull the Anointing down into the earth realm.

The Letter shin

…is the 21st letter in the Hebrew Alphabet. It represents the menorah, fire and transformation.

The letter shin connects us back to the shabbat, the light, and the All Consuming Fire of GOD.

GOD’s language places the letters aleph and shin together to spell, aysh meaning FIRE!

The LORD is an All Consuming Fire!

And mount Sinai was altogether on a smoke, because the Lord descended upon it in fire (aysh): and the smoke thereof ascended as the smoke of a furnace, and the whole mount quaked greatly.” Exodus 19:18

And the angel of the Lord appeared unto him in a flame of fire (aysh) out of the midst of a bush: and he looked, and, behold, the bush burned with fire, and the bush was not consumed.” Exodus 3:2

And the Lord went before them by day in a pillar of a cloud, to lead them the way; and by night in a pillar of fire (aysh), to give them light; to go by day and night: Exodus 13:21

“…And call ye on the name of your gods, and I will call on the name of the Lord: and the God that answereth by fire (aysh), let him be God. And all the people answered and said, It is well spoken.” 1 Kings 18:24

He is the GOD that answers by Fire!

There are a total of 17 times that man is called “ah-dahm” (Strong’s # 121) before we see a shift in terminology.

Ah-dahm is a bit more neutral in terms and would be better understood in scripture had the translators chosen to apply the meaning of, “human or human being.” (I will followup to leave a link down below for a discussion on this matter.)

Nevertheless…

Once ah-dahm takes a wife, GOD elevates him in the Word to the level of an “eesh”, His Highest Creation!

Ah-dahm’s transformation to an “eesh”, does not take place until he takes a wife, an eesh-shah. There are precisely a total of 17 occurrences of the word ah-dahm before his new name, eesh ever appears.

This is an important point to reflect on for a moment…

The number 17 is comprised of the numbers 10 and 7.

10 represents Atonement and 7 represents the shabbat rest, spiritual perfection, wholeness and completion, the Feast Days.

In scripture, the number 17 is connected to victory.

GOD, Our All Consuming Fire, takes a yod, the smallest letter in the Hebrew Alephbet, the symbol of humility, and He places it in the midst His Image and Likeness as Fire… and ah-dahm becomes an eesh.

Following in the context, we see that the one whom GOD calls a man, must possess the character trait of humility in order to stand before the Fire of GOD.

The letter yod represents humility, humbleness, yieldedness. When man/mankind, who is created in the image and likeness of GOD (as an eesh), humbles himself before GOD, He is crowned the “eesh”.

If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land. 2 Chronicles 7:14

How then does GOD create an eesh-shah?

The letter hei represents Torah, Revelation, the Breath of GOD, Grace and the Presence of GOD. The number five in Hebrew also represents being filled with the Spirit of GOD.

Look again at verse 23 in Genesis 2. The scripture says, “…because she was taken out of man.” When the letter hei appears at the end of a word, it often expresses the understanding in translation as, “What comes out of…”

Example: When the letter hei is placed at the end of the word ah-dahm, a new word is created, ah-dahm-mah.

ah-dah-mah does not only mean earth, ground or dirt. It carries an expanded meaning of, “What comes out of the ground.”

Likewise, eesh-shah has the extended meaning and understanding of, ‘What comes out of ah-dahm’.

Hebrew is such a meticulous language that not only do the letters convey images, concepts and ideas, etc., into the words they are used to create, the meanings of the words and letters are defined by the Torah itself! One reflects the other.

GOD’s WORD is One.

Now let’s look at MAN and WOMAN, eesh and eesh-shah, side by side!

As you have seen, when man and woman are operating in their place and position in GOD, one carries the yod and the other carries the hei

The grand design as seen in the letters of their names, eesh and eesh-shah, is that together… they carry the Name of GOD between them.

Now… What if the woman, the eesh-shah does not want to operate in her GOD Given capacity of the hei?

What if the man, the eesh does not want to operate in his anointing of the yod?

Her fire would gravitate to its destructive qualities and devour his ability to operate in the anointing without, coming against her fire turned against him; backlash, retaliation, resentment, trials, or test, etc soon follow.

Or if her mate, became unsuitable for the same reasons and her ability to operate in the anointing was compromised by the destructive fire that would emanate from his rejection and rebellion against his duties and responsibilities in the anointing?

You just have fire consuming fire and destroying everything in its path.

Both are consumed by their own destructive properties of the fire!

EXODUS 20: 18 And all the people saw the thunderings, and the lightnings, and the noise of the trumpet, and the mountain smoking: and when the people saw it, they removed, and stood afar off.

19 And they said unto Moses, Speak thou with us, and we will hear: but let not God speak with us, lest we die.

20 And Moses said unto the people, Fear not: for God is come to prove you, and that his fear may be before your faces, that ye sin not.

Moses understood that GOD is a consuming Fire, as it is said: “For the LORD thy GOD is a Devouring Fire” (Deut 4:24) that it would have been normal for him to have been consumed by the fire.

But Moses knew something else... he understood the prophetic meaning of GOD’s commandment that the fire should be kept burning on the altar continually (Lev 6:13-14). He recognized that GOD was not only speaking of literal and material wood being kept on the fire, but it meant him, as a Man of GOD to never let the Fire of GOD die out in his spirit.

Moses was able to draw near to GOD, when all the others were afraid, because Moses ascended for GOD’s Glory, not for his own.

None of self was in him. All he wanted was the yod – to bring GOD’s Glory down into the Earth.

“Is not My Word like fire, says the LORD” Jeremiah 23:29.

“This tells us that just as fire does not ignite in a lone stick of wood but in a pile of kindling, so too matters of Torah are not retained and understood by a lone scholar who studies by himself, but by a group of Sages.” The Significance of Fire in Judaism by Jessica Zemble

Eesh and eesh-shah received the law that was given them from the midst of the Fire of GOD.

You are fashioned from the Fire of GOD. When GOD named you man, and when he named you woman, He fashioned the very Words from His Fire!

No one can call you Man or Woman without knowingly or unknowingly calling to you, the very substance of which you are embued… The Fire of GOD. What I mean by that is this…. even your enemies are calling you the vessel of the Fire of GOD. So, it really doesn’t matter what your enemies say about you! To speak ill of you, they have to address you as the image and likeness of GOD. Their words can not breakthrough the barrier of fire, His Fire, set round about you!

This is another reason that we should have pity on our enemies and bless those that curse us and pray for those that despitefully use us… They are seriously playing with Fire! Rather than be angry, we should be concerned for their souls! Amen?

In the final analysis, Man and Woman, husband and wife are called to walk together in humility, honor, and power in the Presence of GOD.

Keep the Fire of GOD burning on the altar of your heart, continually…

Never Let The Fire Go Out. Amen.

Answer Us, LORD…

Aneinu, in Hebrew is an urgent plea for GOD to “Answer us.” It’s a beautiful prayer that gets to the heart of the matter, especially when you’re fasting for breakthroughs.

And especially when we are…

Praying for Your People LORD, and Believing that You Will Answer their every need… Set them in sure places on High, show them the little signs in all that they do that You will go before them in every situation and circumstance, daily they shall go from strength to strength, from courageous to unstoppable, give them that glimpse behind the veil that allows that moment to witness, to see and perceive that you will be a sanctuary for them in the places where they come to. Amen.

Ezekiel 11:16

And what shall we give GOD in return?

Give Him Words of Faith to work with… start today, even with a word as small as a grain of sand, until you build up your spiritual strength. Until you become a speaking spirit again. Until your flesh is no longer running things. Until your spirit is in full control of your flesh. Until your spirit is being led by the Spirit of GOD.

This Fast is for Divine Reversal, the day the spirit overcomes the flesh.

Selah

Psalms 13 How Long Lord…? How Long?

David laments about how long it’s taking to overcome their enemies. Enemies arise back-to-back. But the Children of Israel are only facing enemies’ generation after generation because they are not staying under the anointing of GOD. Acts of disobedience are opening the door to their enemies.

In verse 1 and 2, David ask, “How long…”, a total of 4 times. It’s interesting to note that Israel went into exile a total of 4 times; Babylon, Persia, Greece and with Rome.

Where else in the scriptures do we find similar language.... [Using one of the 7 Rules of Biblical Hermeneutics (Rule #6) known as ‘Ka-yoẓe bo mi-maḳom aḥer‘ (“Like that in another place”), i.e., the explanation of a Biblical passage according to another of similar content].

We see:

Exodus 16:28 “And the Lord said unto Moses, How long refuse ye to keep my commandments and my laws?”

Numbers 14:11 “And the Lord said unto Moses, How long will this people provoke me? and how long will it be ere they believe me, for all the signs which I have shewed among them?”

Numbers 14:27 How long shall I bear with this evil congregation, which murmur against me? I have heard the murmurings of the children of Israel, which they murmur against me.”

David recognizes and expresses two ways in which we can feel that GOD is not with us…

  1. Removal of His Presence; (1a) can cause us to feel forgotten.
  2. GOD Conceals His Face; (1b) can cause us to feel abandoned.

Yet, in the Book of Jeremiah we find GOD’s reply to apathy, idolatry, apostasy…

“Saying to a stock, Thou art my father; and to a stone, Thou hast brought me forth: for they have turned their back unto me, and not their face: but in the time of their trouble they will say, Arise, and save us.”

Sure, we can come up with our own strategies to save ourselves, and we have. But when will we trust GOD enough to abide with Him, without turning our backs, getting comfortable and complacent, without crossing over into apostasy, forgetfulness, apathy?

What causes us to drift back into the world and turn away, and get caught in the cycle of exile? Isn’t that one of the things that David wants us to figure out?

Lighten our eyes LORD, give us Your plan. We purpose to hear Your plan; we purpose in our hearts to listen and obey. We need Your counsel to keep us out of the snares of the enemy, we need to outwit them. It is imperative that we outwit them. If You do not give us the plan, or the instructions, to keep us from venturing into the traps, plots, plans or snares of our spiritual enemies, we will sleep the sleep of death (Jer. 51:9).

Enlighten us with torah… cause us to see beneath the verses… cause our eyes to open so that we understand the message… open our ears to hear… least our enemies prevail over us, over our children and over our futures…

This is why we can trust in Your Mercy…This is why we can rejoice in Your Salvation… This is why we can sing and find joy in the midst of pain and disappointment, or distress… because we don’t allow our feelings to rule over us… because our hearts are not seared, we can receive correction, we possess the humility to repent, because we know you are Faithful, More Faithful that we are… whether we can see Your Face, or feel Your Presence, we trust in You and on Your Name, and we already know that you will never leave us or forsake us…

Amen.

Praying the Psalms… OUTLOUD

Children’s names are dressed in Royal Apparel… The Purple Ink.

Come alongside us and pray for every name on this altar. Everything they need is just a prayer away! Ask The LORD to show you which people on this list you are assigned to pray for. I hope it’s every name, but if you are called to cover children…

My granddaughter asked about the people that you pass by, and you can look at them and see… knowing they need prayer, but you don’t know their names… how do we include them?

So, I made a reminder on the list for “The Unknown Name.” We are covering everybody, hidden in plain sight, everybody passing by anonymously, but we can see pain, hurt, devastation, secret pain… we’re binding every lying suicidal spirit, every spirit of sabotage, depression, we cast out vain imaginations… We are praying for you to have divine encounters, divine interventions, a Word from the LORD, that only you recognize must be coming from Him, because flesh and blood could not reveal it to you… Give your servants a Word for the lost, the broken, the lonely, the hurting… anoint my granddaughter to be one of your servants, to see behind the mask the people wear, to see the truth, to see beneath the surface, and be that servant, to give them a Word from the LORD, a Word that retrieves them from behind enemy lines.
