Before we move into the deeper level of the knowledge of the Son of Man and His Triune Nature, I want to pause a moment and allow everybody a some time to self-assess in order to identify the character traits that you possess that mirror the Character and Nature of GOD.
This is a personal self-evaluation- please do not send your results to me. Keep it in your journal as you continue in this study of the Trinity. Refer back to the questions and your assessment as you continue through the course.
Before we make assessments and draw connections between the Character and Nature of GOD, lets see where we are, individually.
Below are a few scriptures that point us to the character and nature of GOD.
Exodus 34:6-7 King James Version
6 And the Lord passed by before him, and proclaimed, The Lord, The Lord God, merciful and gracious, longsuffering, and abundant in goodness and truth,
7 Keeping mercy for thousands, forgiving iniquity and transgression and sin, and that will by no means clear the guilty; visiting the iniquity of the fathers upon the children, and upon the children’s children, unto the third and to the fourth generation
Psalm 145:8-9 King James Version
8 The Lord is gracious, and full of compassion; slow to anger, and of great mercy.
9 The Lord is good to all: and his tender mercies are over all his works.
Micah 7:18-19 King James Version
18 Who is a God like unto thee, that pardoneth iniquity, and passeth by the transgression of the remnant of his heritage? he retaineth not his anger for ever, because he delighteth in mercy.
19 He will turn again, he will have compassion upon us; he will subdue our iniquities; and thou wilt cast all their sins into the depths of the sea.
John 14:9 King James Version
9 Jesus saith unto him, Have I been so long time with you, and yet hast thou not known me, Philip? he that hath seen me hath seen the Father; and how sayest thou then, Show us the Father?
Hebrews 1:3 King James Version
3 Who being the brightness of his glory, and the express image of his person, and upholding all things by the word of his power, when he had by himself purged our sins, sat down on the right hand of the Majesty on high:
When you walk with the LORD, and hold onto him, you learn just how much it’s true… GOD IS FAITHFUL
Then the LORD said to me, “You have seen well, for I am watching over my word to perform it.” Jer 1:12 ESV
In the attached two pages I have put together for you 20 infallible proofs of this truth.
Scripture always speaks in patterns. We have to learn them…
So know when you walk with the LORD, He remembers you – just ask Him to remember you and your prayers and to send your family help from the sanctuary! Amen.
Mark these passages in your bible, create your own cross reference system, be inventive and make the corralations in your bibles!
God is not just watching over His Word to perform it… He is watching over the Word of Faith you speak into the world, The WORD of Faith you speak of Him —-He will come for the Word in you too!
THE LORD LOVES A GOOD DISCUSSION! Proverbs 2 (ALL)Cancel reply
Major Theme: The greater the revelation entrusted to a prophet, the greater the accountability. Throughout Scripture, God consistently vindicates the authority of His Word by holding His own messengers to the highest standard before He judges the nations.
1 Kings 13, teaches us these very important spiritual lessons through the power of the prophetic office in a very powerful way.
1 Kings 13, is one of my favorite teachings in scripture. It truy ministers to me and helps in my ministry. I decided to put together this short teaching, (written in a pdf) for anyone who would like a short line by line study. When I have time, I will come back and update it, providing a few more details, but as I have a friend who would like to use it now, here’s a few notes! Hope it helps you.
BUT FIRST
LET’S BE CLEAR ON WHAT IT MEANS TO BREAK BREAD WITH SOMEONE FROM YOUR HEBRAIC ROOTS IN THE SCRIPTURE.
NOT WHAT IT MEANS TODAY… BUT WHAT IT MEANT THEN…
1 Kings 13
Why God forbade the prophet from eating bread or drinking water
This command is much deeper than simply declining hospitality.
1. Sharing a meal established fellowship and covenant
Throughout the Ancient Near East—and throughout Scripture—sharing bread established peace, fellowship, acceptance, and often covenant.
Examples:
Genesis 26:30 — Isaac and Abimelech seal peace with a feast.
Genesis 31:54 — Jacob and Laban eat together after making covenant.
Exodus 24:9–11 — Israel’s elders eat before God after the covenant.
2 Samuel 9 — David continually feeds Mephibosheth at the king’s table, signifying covenant kindness.
Luke 22 — Jesus institutes the New Covenant through bread and wine.
Eating together communicated:
acceptance
peace
alliance
identification
reconciliation
loyalty
2. Eating with Jeroboam would have appeared to endorse his apostate kingdom
Jeroboam says:
“Come home with me…”
This was not merely an offer of hospitality.
It was effectively an invitation into the king’s household and favor.
Accepting the meal would publicly suggest:
the prophet accepted Jeroboam
God approved Jeroboam
the judgment had been softened
reconciliation had already occurred
Instead, God commanded the prophet to leave immediately, demonstrating that His judgment against the altar and Jeroboam’s false worship remained unchanged.
3. Refusing bread symbolized separation from apostasy
The prophet was to remain completely distinct from Bethel’s corrupt worship.
Compare:
Numbers 16 (Korah)
Deuteronomy 13
Psalm 1
Proverbs 4:14–15
The command illustrated a broader principle:
Do not participate in what God has condemned.
4. Water represented refreshment and blessing
In the ancient world, offering water to a traveler was one of the highest acts of hospitality.
Examples:
Genesis 18
Genesis 24
Judges 19
John 4
By refusing water, the prophet showed he would receive no refreshment from a place under divine judgment.
5. Returning by another way
God also commanded:
“Neither return by the same way…”
This symbolized that the prophet’s mission was complete and that there could be no retracing of steps or lingering relationship with Bethel’s idolatrous system.
The altered route visibly reinforced the finality of God’s message.
Why was it equally serious to eat with the old prophet?
This is one of the literary surprises of 1 Kings 13.
The old prophet claimed:
“I also am a prophet…”
Sharing bread with him conveyed acceptance of his claimed prophetic authority.
Yet he had remained in Bethel, the center of Jeroboam’s false worship, and then lied by falsely invoking an angelic message.
The man of God had received a direct command from God. By accepting the old prophet’s invitation, he allowed a later, contradictory message to override God’s original word.
The lesson is profound:
No claimed revelation—even from someone who appears spiritual—can nullify a direct command previously given by God.
This principle is echoed elsewhere in Scripture:
Deuteronomy 13:1–5 — Even if a prophet performs a sign, he must not be followed if he leads people away from God’s command.
Galatians 1:8 — Even if “an angel from heaven” preaches another gospel, let him be accursed.

Hebrew

לֶחֶם (leḥem)
H3899
bread, food, sustenance
מַיִם (mayim)
H4325

דֶּרֶךְ (derekh)
H1870
road, path, manner of life
Notice that all three commands concern more than physical actions:
Bread — fellowship
Water — blessing and refreshment
Way — one’s spiritual course
Together they form a symbolic package: the prophet was to remain completely separate from Bethel’s apostate religious system until his mission was complete.
We are accountable before GOD as Watchman on the Walls, Leaders and Teachers to teach right things, and to do everything we can to educate GOD’s People so they are equipped to behave themselves wisely.
Don’t be afraid to stand up for the WORD of GOD. Be afraid not to.
Let’s Begin This Review With The Most Important Question First!
What Did You Learn From This Exercise?
Their is always something to learn from opposing viewpoints.
Allow the opposition (if that is what they are…) to cover their points. Some people are long winded so this requires patience. You have to develop patience. Here is the strategy when you’re a person of little patience…
(1) Consider the conversation practice for a future debate. Don’t listen as a critic or a judge. Don’t listen in order to leap at the first opportunity to disagree. Just Breathe and Listen.
If you are speaking with (listening to) someone who is very close – this is an opportunity to practice self discipline. Family, friends and your loyal opposition, can be the most difficult to engage with, especially when you are on opposites sides of a conversation. They know you and that’s valuable information they can utilize. So, know yourself, and stay calm.
Family and friends can help you recognize your triggers. That’s extremely useful- although annoying. Let them reveal as many as they can! Be a student, not an adversary and learn. If nothing else, learn how they see you as a conversationalist. There’s always something to learn.
This can be the hardest part of the conversation. I understand that. However… this is about practicing self-discipline. So just listen.
(2) TAKE NOTES: Note the time they begin speaking and make a brief outline of the points they are making – Whether you agree with them or not- is not the point. Taking notes helps you stay focused on their conversation, as well as allowing you a visual on the way in which they order their thoughts.
Consider it a mission of reconnaissance. Let them lay out/map out the territory for you. If you are in an impromptu conversation in which you discover you are at opposite ends of the spectrum – be patient and let them map out the territory for you. (a) Do they know where they are going in this conversation? (b) What points do they value? (c) What points are they constantly revisiting? (d) What’s the agenda of this conversation? (e) What is it that they want to persuade you on? (f) Regardless of what they are saying, what is it they believe? Are you able to tell? (g) How many walls or booby traps did they set up? (h) Is this a hunting expedition? Is your opponent attempting to extract more information from you than they are willing to give? (i) What is their real agenda?
This is a debate, right? Remember, you have to be wise as the serpent. People instinctively desire to be clever. It’s a victory for them to attempt to either, charm you, out-smart you, impress you, silence you, manipulate, overpower you, control you, dominate you, etc. Some people just want to win. Others, desire to replace your thoughts, beliefs and convictions with their own. There is always an agenda. No matter how circuitous the conversation becomes, look for signs of the agenda.
As People of GOD, be aware of all of the above (at minimum) and locate the source of pain, brokenness, disappointment, insecurity or the facade. (That’s why you are allowing them the time to map it out for you). People just seem OK and appear as if everything is altogether lovely. Don’t just listen to the words heard on the surface, nor focus solely on the picture they are painting with their words. Contentions with the WORD of GOD, are signals that there is more going on beneath the surface than most people want you to realize. Listen more than you speak.
Make an Assessment: What are you really dealing with? Ego, arrogance, envy, jealousy, strife, self-aggrandizement? Modesty, humility, grace, genuine interest, questions or concern?
(3) Let them speak for at least 5 minutes (maximum) or at least until you have 5-10 points. Here’s the reason for that investment:
Now they owe you the same time and courtesy. You have the right to hold them to it. You got your practice in- You held your peace, you took good notes, you know what you need to address and you earned the right to go about it as you see fit.
Announce how many points you need to address based upon what they stated. Announce where you will begin. Be clear that you will need time to address each point they have made before you have offered a complete response. Ex: “In the 5 minutes you were speaking, I’ve noted 5 primary points that I would like time to respond to. I have them here as…”
Don’t allow interruptions. Respond fully. If interrupted, pause and wait for them to stop talking. Don’t get into a battle or back to back exchange of “You interrupted me.” If politely requesting adequate time to respond is not honored, opt to exit the conversation until such a time as you can be given time to speak and respond to all of their statements, questions or challenges. This is placing a demand on them to operate with polite and professional speaking etiquette.
You are not just placing a demand on them, but you are placing a demand on yourself for the same and exercising self-discipline. Usually at this time, the other speaker may be silent. Use the time to make note of your responses- on the note pad. Don’t offer any verbal continuance of the conversation until they verbally concede to respect your time to respond.
If you are dealing with an undisciplined speaker, you will need to repeat this behavior until you can have a polite conversational exchange of thoughts, ideas and/or scriptural proofs. This is the hard part.
If you are unable to control yourself, just stop the conversation. Figure out what went wrong on your behalf. Don’t finger point. Self-assessment, self-examination is in order here. This is the hard part.
It get’s better with practice!
In the future when I send you other videos to watch and evaluate, make note of the words and behaviors that you find ‘triggering or distasteful.’ How would you handle them in real life? Practice the good behaviors that you desire.
NOTE: I have a lot of things that I do not like to occur in a debate. I wrestle with my own flesh on what they are and struggle to improve myself. We all have to. The lesson here is in how well we can actually ‘die to self’. This is where we take the concept and idea of “dying to self” and actually have to put it in to application. The good news is that you have an opportunity to make a self-assessment of how good you are at it, in the performance of thelittle things.
When you die to self– you give them the opportunity to “hear themselves“
You may be judged, criticized, blamed, or talked about behind your back – So What! Your opponent needs you to be the bad guy, so they can see themselves as the more virtuous. Several of them need this to be the case. Why? Because they need or are prone to gossip, gain-saying, etc. Some people need to be right about something, and they need it badly. If the only voice they want to hear is their own – on any given subject matter. Let them have the win. I could be all they have wrapped up in their self-esteem. Is that the situation?
Keeping ‘self’ out of the conversation is one of the best things you can do as a Christian. It’s the most instructive and the most effective in releasing the Power of GOD over the situation.
As a Christian, if you really want the WORD of GOD and the Power of GOD released over the situation, “Die to Self.” How bad do you want it?
If the conversation devolves into a confrontational debate– that’s where we have failed as Christians. You have the option, opportunity and responsibility to control how you respond and conduct yourself.
If the person you are speaking with is behaving in a way that clearly signals they have no intention of allowing you to respond… That alone speaks volumes without you saying another word, and they will hear that loud and clear all on their own!
Sun Zsu Amendment: Know the enemy and Know yourself (and Control Yourself) and in every battle you will be Undefeated!
Every observation provides valuable insights. Hear what the person is saying… listen to their words… and their body language –and listen fully to both.
Collective Student Responses
Here’s what I want you to take away most from this exercise: Always be prepared to defend the faith against “All enemies… foreign or domestic. Not with physical weapons, but with wisdom.“
But then you might ask, “What about defending the faith? Just let them have the last word? Let them have the last word and the wrong thinking about what scripture is saying?
This is where your life of prayer, discernment and perception has to come in to the argument at hand…
What is the weightier matter at hand? Is it the original question that was on the table? Or are you really addressing some need to care for some form of damage to their soul?
Rule of Thumb: We don’t fight banned battles but we do stand and deliver the most essential message they need to know- at that time.
As His Ambassador, you decide what that will be.
Disclosure: When I say ‘Fast’ I mean being mindful of your health needs when you fast.

I’ve been thinking about launching a new series for the New Year using the game of Chess as a foundation for demonstrating a few basic Torah principles and strategies of spiritual warfare.
For the most part, I am going to assume that everyone knows a few basics about the game of chess because there is such a wealth of information out there via the internet, in case you don’t. So, it’s easy to learn!
If you find this short series worthwhile (meaning, spiritually beneficial), let me know by sending me a message in the comment section or posting a ‘like.’ Thank You!
Here is what I like most about the game of Chess…
Both players have the same exact view of the board. Sixty-Four squares (territory) all in plain view. Nothing hidden. All things bare and open before you. Yet, while we are aware of and have access to the entire field of battle, we might not be aware of the intentions, tactics, plans and strategies of our opponent. These too are hidden in plain sight.
Those who are clothe in white raiment, or destined to wear it, have access to 66 Books of Instructions. That being said, our loyal opposition also has access to, and has read, the same Book of Instructions that we have access to, but they skew the teaching to advance their agenda.
Now, how do you approach the battlefield?
Your most formidable enemies are going to know just as much or more than you know about the Word of GOD. They are waiting to see if you know what to do with the information that you possess.
So allow me to ask you one more time… Do you know how to approach the battlefield?
Do you know what you have been given?
Can you take down the strongman on the battlefield?
Do you know how to take down the enemies that walk in darkness?
If the enemy knows the Books better than you, then you are constantly at a disadvantage. If you know some of the instructions, and the enemy knows a few, then you may lose some and win some.
If you know the Books better than the enemy- then you are well on your way to becoming undefeated and unstoppable when you approach the battle field with wisdom, knowledge, understanding and the full council of the LORD! Amen.
So the first thing we need to realize is that… We can’t rely on sight alone. We need something more than that. We need insight and discernment. We need the ability to perceive what the enemy is doing in plain sight.
Because we’re dealing with spiritual matters, we are actually talking about knowing what the enemy is doing – BEYOND – what we can see in the natural.
Example: You walk into a room. Do you know who is carrying the spirit of GOD upon them? and who is not?
Are you able to discern those operating in another spirit? Do you know what spirit they are operating in? What do the scriptures teach you about how to handle that spirit?
Hold these thoughts in mind as we move forward….
Staring from the left – Columns are labeled A through H; Rows are numbered 1 through 8
From the perspective of the board you see above, the white pieces would be yours, and your opponent will use the black.
Since we’re applying this from a biblical perspective, lets place those on the side of Heaven as wearing white, and those on the side of darkness are wearing black.
PRIMARY PRINCIPLE #1:
You must know how to move your pieces into positions of unity. There must be oneness of spirit. Unity is your ultimate strength. Disunity is a destiny destroyer.
John 17:21 KJV
That they all may be one; as thou, Father, art in me, and I in thee, that they also may be one in us: that the world may believe that thou hast sent me.
The Black King has moved from E7 to E6., causing the Black Queen (Darkness) to face off with the White Queen (LIGHT) .
In the past, our first thought would be to take our White Queen and remove the Black Queen from the board. The immediate impulse would be to take that piece of territory that the spirit of darkness offered – deliberately, by the way…. there was a time, we would snatch it up and go tell everyone about our victory over the enemy! Not realizing that we were being set up for a fall.
But not today, Praise GOD!
It’s Your Move…
You could move your queen from C7 to C6, but you would only be prolonging the battle. Turn your sight toward the White Bishop on E2. It’s path of movement is along the dotted lines. If you shift the Bishop from E2 to G4,
Screenshot
By shifting your pieces into a position of UNITY, the Bishop and the Queen are now working together to immobilize the King of Darkness.
Your opponent is out of options. There is no place that the Black King can move in order to escape! He will be captured by either the Bishop or the Queen. Unity at all times, is your position of strength.
Unity puts the enemy in Check!
As Leaders and Intercessors for the Body of Christ, our first priority is Unity. No personal agenda, no me first, no praying only for self or thinking of only me and mine, all ideas, thoughts, ways, surrendered to Christ. No competition, no strife, no vain glory. No “my way or the highway”, No, “If I’m available”. We’re ALWAYS available for Christ.
Ephesians 4:13 KJV Till we all come in the unity of the faith, and of the knowledge of the Son of God, unto a perfect man, unto the measure of the stature of the fulness of Christ:
I know we struggle with that word perfect (teleios). That’s because we automatically apply our understanding of the word ‘perfect‘ from an English only perspective.
Fortunately, the Greek meaning carries all the weight and substance of its actual meaning… and communicates a much richer, liberating meaning in Christ .
teleios is that state of spiritual maturity in the faith, that has developed within us overtime, which causes us to operate in the nature and the character of Christ. Again, operating in His image and likeness as opposed to operating in our own carnality.
Being or becoming ‘perfect’ is not a barrier or an impossible assignment. It is not something that we should dismiss as impossible or unachievable. GOD is not asking that of us.
teleois contains a finishing factor in GOD… it means you become a finished work of GOD, lacking nothing, completeness.
There are 19 appearances of teleios in the New Testament, all testifying to the use of the verb teleios which speaks to one becoming complete, finished, perfected… by submitting to GOD’s Will, His Ways, His Thoughts, etc. and not our own.
We do have the ability to die to self though! In dying to self, we submit ourselves before GOD and take His yoke upon us. We pursue the character and nature of Christ in all things! If or when we miss the mark, we repent, recover and move forward. No condemnation.
Key Concepts: DAY 1
In matters of spiritual warfare, the victory goes to those that stay aligned with the Vision of GOD and do not lose focus.
Unity is Essential. You can not go off doing your own thing. Master in staying in Sync with the Spirit of GOD, and in regards to Intercessory Prayer – Unity is the source of your strength
When we operate in Unity, we develop the spiritual maturity (teleios) that sharpens our focus and keeps us in divine alignment with the Spirit of GOD.
Unity produces much fruit!
Unity is the key ingredient of your victories!
Unity places the enemy in a state of rigidity!
Align your pieces on the board; your prayer, your consecration, your service, faithfulness, dedication, fasting, study, commitment, etc. Move them in sequences of divine alignment.
Immobilize the enemy by means of a strategy that gives them no option but to surrender.
and Stay focused.
Chess will reveal to you, just how well you focus and pay attention. Are you being caught up in the same traps and schemes on the chess board? Do you easily forget how to move within a certain scenario repeats itself? Are you looking for places to unify your strength? Are you playing to your strengths or your weaknesses?
Is the enemy playing more moves ahead than you are?
A closer look at the Greek word ‘anomos’ in the New Testament.
‘a’ prefacing a word in Greek = without, amoral, anarchy
‘nomos’ (G3551) = actually refers to the original Hebrew word ‘torah’ (traditionally translated as ‘law’ from the Greek word ‘nomos’ into the English language. nomos = Torah, to adapt and operate in the principlesof GOD, His “Laws”, His set of moral values as outlined in His Word.
anomos (G459) is more properly understood and expressed from the Hebrew perspective as ‘without Torah, rebellious; by implication ‘Godless men‘; also known as Gentile; one who refuses GOD’s teachings and instructions (TORAH), crossing and trespassing boundaries of GOD.
To be without Torah (without the Word of GOD) is to be or become Godless.
To operate in such a way as to be without Torah = is to behave in a lawless manner, act unlawfully, to transgress boundaries, Godless behavior wickedness, or to act wickedly.
Anomos appears 10x in the New Testament. Let’s look at the first 3 so that we can see the pattern, (How GOD uses the Word ‘anomos’ in scripture). This is the pattern of usage that matters more than our English translations.
Remember: Our English translations apply nine or more words or phrases throughout the many versions of the New Testament in translating the word ‘anomos.’ But, they all lead back to the same Greek word.
Let’s look at the first 3 appearances of ‘anomos‘ in the New Testament.
Mark 15:28 (KJV)
“And the scripture was fulfilled, which saith, And he was numbered with the transgressors.“
Luke 22:37 (KJV)
“For I say unto you, that this that is written must yet be accomplished in me, And he was reckoned among the transgressors: for the things concerning me have an end.”
Acts 2:23 (KJV)
Him, being delivered by the determinate counsel and foreknowledge of God, ye have taken, and by wicked hands (Godless men) have crucified and slain:
I can’t help it… let’s look at the 4th appearance of anomos.
1 Corinthians 9:21 (KJV)
To them that are without law, as without law, (being not without law to God, but under the law to Christ,) that I might gain them that are without law.
You can’t help but notice the number of times the Word emphasizes the problem... anomos = them that are without the TORAH.
1 Corinthians 9:21 is showing us something else. Let’s look again…
1 Corinthians 9:21 (KJV)
To them that are without law, as without law, (being not without law to God, but under the law to Christ,) that I might gain them that are without law.
Under the Torah (law) = enomos (G1772)
*From en and nomos; (subjectively) legal, or (objectively) subject to — lawful, under law.
Those that are under the Torah (law) have made GOD their King. They have freely taken upon themselves His yoke of Sovereignty = submitted to the Word of GOD; the Voice of GOD.
The Christ, The Anointed One of Israel, (His title, as translated and expressed from the Greek Language) which in Hebrew is expressed as The Messiach, The Anointed One of Israel.
In either language, Hebrew or Greek, we are addressing Him as the Anointed One. He is the Anointing!
Why is any of this important right now?
Because in 2 days time, we will be in Rosh HaShana 2025. (Beginning sundown, the evening of September 22), and we need to know the times and the seasons of the LORD. So that we are not just walking around aimlessly, or oblivious to what is happening around us.
We, EVERYONE, is on the Calendar of GOD whether they accept it or not, they are. You don’t have to accept truth, in order for something to be true. Oxygen exist, whether you ever see it or not.
Some will submit themselves to the authority of Christ and some will not. In 1 Corinthians, He is telling us that He is still seeking to save the lost. Amen. GOD has not given up on us! He is still working in pursuit of saving as many souls as will come to Him.
Halleluyah!
However, as you know, scripture has so many layers and I want to show you something else in these passages – contained within the word anomos.
Let’s look again…
When GOD created the world everything that was created had boundaries and limitations; a purpose and a position in the earth- for the good of all. The sun would rule by day and the moon by night, the water would not cover the earth; this far and no further, the seed would produce after its own kind, etc, etc, (Genesis 1).
But the transgressors cross boundaries… Read these passages again with that understanding in mind.
Mark 15:28 (KJV)
“And the scripture was fulfilled, which saith, And he was numbered with the transgressors.“
Christ was numbered among those that trespass others rights, properties, boundaries, as if He were like those that trespass against both GOD and man.
Luke 22:37 (KJV)
“For I say unto you, that this that is written must yet be accomplished in me, And he was reckoned among the transgressors: for the things concerning me have an end.”
Christ was numbered among those that disrespect and dishonor another’s name, reputation, legacy, rights…
Acts 2:23 (KJV)
Him, being delivered by the determinate counsel and foreknowledge of God, ye have taken, and by wicked hands (Godless men) have crucified and slain:
Christ was slain by the actual transgressors, those who operated with contempt and total disrespect for truth; crossed boundaries; those who appeared to carry the Word of GOD within them, but did not.
They had a form of godliness (2 Tim 3:5) but refused the Power of GOD within them. The Greek word ar-neh’-om-ahee (G720) translated into English as ‘denying’ is telling us that they rejected the Power of GOD.
ar-neh’-om-ahee means to disavow, denounce or renounce the Power of GOD. All of the above!
The transgressors don’t accept the authority of GOD, they rebel against His authority. GOD’s Word presents boundaries and limitation, restrictions that they reject. They want to operate in their own authority and power. Abnegation is their power. With that, you can feed your own lusts, your own desires, your own thoughts, ways, ideals, and mindset. The ‘Godless men‘ that came for Christ, did so because they wanted to silence a voice they could not control or manipulate.
Some transgressors orchestrate events, some transgressors throw the stones, some transgressors hold the coats, and some transgressors passively aggressively pretend they did not see, or hear or understand, or recognize anything or anyone involved.
Christ made Himself of no reputation to cover it all… if anyone could find the ability to humble themselves, return, repent and recover their relationship with Him.
There is still time. We just need the Word. We just need a Word from the LORD.
1 Corinthians 9:21 (KJV)
To them that are without the Word, as without Torah, (being not without The Word to God, but under the Word (submitted to the WORD and unto Him,) that HE might gain them that are without His Word, His Presence, and His Covering.
As the deer panteth after the water brooks, so panteth my soul after thee, O God. Psalm 42:1
Did you know that when the deer drinks from the brooks of living water, their scent becomes masked?
King David knew. The Sons of Korah knew. The Chief Musician, Maschil understood. The Children of Israel knew this also.
When hunted by prey or injured, the deer heads for streams of living water. Their survival instincts direct them to the place where they know the predator can not find them.
Just drinking from the water covers their scent. Amazing!
Scripture ALWAYS has a reason for every word, every phrase, every detail of the message that is given to us. Scripture is not dead history. It does not contain “old or outdated information.” It could just be, that we are so disconnected from some parts of nature that we no longer possess information that connects us to understanding its precepts.
In days of old, the connection between the deer drinking and our soul taking a drink, would have not only connected us to the imagery of thirsting for GOD. It would have also connected us to the imagery and understanding of fleeing from our enemies to a natural source of protection.
So too, by divine design, when we shelter in the Presence of the Most High, drinking from the Living waters He provides we are hidden from the snare of the fowler, the hunters, the predators, those that try to destroy us and seek our lives for a prey.
Just remember….
All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness: 2 Timothy 3:16
May all of your enemies that come against you, be confounded and cast into a state of derision every time or any time they attempt to track or trace you in the realm of the spirit or here on earth. Continue Daily, Drinking from the Fountains of Living Waters, the LORD has provided for you.; to heal you, replenish you, refresh you and revive you. To keep you, preserve you whole and complete, to provide for you till all of His expected plans have been fulfilled on your behalf. Amen.
