WELCOME TO THE MONTH OF ELUL…

Spiritual Preparation for Rosh Ha’Shanah – Day 2

Psalm 27 KJV

27 The Lord is my light and my salvation; whom shall I fear? the Lord is the strength of my life; of whom shall I be afraid?

When the wicked, even mine enemies and my foes, came upon me to eat up my flesh, they stumbled and fell.

Though an host should encamp against me, my heart shall not fear: though war should rise against me, in this will I be confident.

One thing have I desired of the Lord, that will I seek after; that I may dwell in the house of the Lord all the days of my life, to behold the beauty of the Lord, and to enquire in his temple.

For in the time of trouble he shall hide me in his pavilion: in the secret of his tabernacle shall he hide me; he shall set me up upon a rock.

And now shall mine head be lifted up above mine enemies round about me: therefore will I offer in his tabernacle sacrifices of joy; I will sing, yea, I will sing praises unto the Lord.

Hear, O Lord, when I cry with my voice: have mercy also upon me, and answer me.

When thou saidst, Seek ye my face; my heart said unto thee, Thy face, Lord, will I seek.

Hide not thy face far from me; put not thy servant away in anger: thou hast been my help; leave me not, neither forsake me, O God of my salvation.

10 When my father and my mother forsake me, then the Lord will take me up.

11 Teach me thy way, O Lord, and lead me in a plain path, because of mine enemies.

12 Deliver me not over unto the will of mine enemies: for false witnesses are risen up against me, and such as breathe out cruelty.

13 I had fainted, unless I had believed to see the goodness of the Lord in the land of the living.

14 Wait on the Lord: be of good courage, and he shall strengthen thine heart: wait, I say, on the Lord.

Write the Vision for 2026. You have to use your voice and your pen to decree and declare a thing, right?

What’s your vision for the New Year? What do you want to accomplish in every area of ministry?…. Ministry to Family, Business, etc. What issues do you need to make absolutely sure that you do not carry them into next year?

The Word tells us not to carry the dead thing around with us. What dead things in your past do you need to let go of? What did you carry around all year in 2025, thus far that you should have let go of?

What are you asking GOD to do for you, yet at the same time you are carrying around all those dead things? How serious are you about moving forward? Moving up and ahead in GOD?

What did you accomplish in the Biblical Calendar Year of 2025? (approximately September 2024-September 2025)

Think of Elul as 29 Spiritual Workdays. Invest the time and see what the difference is when you enter into the Calendar Year of GOD, His Way, utilizing His Methods, guided by His thoughts and His advice?

You are the best evidence to know that these things are true. You have everything to gain and absolutely nothing to lose.

Check it out this year.

It’s easy, just follow these instructions below and begin the search of your own soul.

Again, check back in for updated information to help you throughout these next 29 Days! Amen.

“…Ask me of things to come concerning my sons, and concerning the work of my hands command ye me.” ISAIAH 45:11

It’s time to make your declarations known to GOD! Don’t tell yourself, “He knows my heart.” While that’s true, the request is for you to ask. Let’s follow the instructions. There are many spiritual and supernatural reasons for following His Process, rather than our own reasonings.

EVERY DAY WE CREATE OUR FUTURE…

Inspired by “END YOUR YEAR STRONG CONFERENCE” with Dr. Cindy Trimm, December 11, 2021

God gives us here on earth to move deliberately, eliminate the distractions that prevent us from operating in our creative power and purpose in our hearts to take deliberate action to pour into our future tomorrow.

Number your days… Keep the calendar, track your steps, track your progress, do the research, study, read, build… Move each day closer to the future that places you in the position to fulfill your calling and purpose.

Numbers 90:12 “So teach us to number our days, that we may apply our hearts unto wisdom.”

1 Chron 12:32 “And of the children of Issachar, which were men that had understanding of the times, to know what Israel ought to do; the heads of them were two hundred; and all their brethren were at their commandment.”

REF: PRAYER JOURNAL PAGES

Praying the Book of Isaiah, Ch 4 & 5

Chapter 4 & 5:

Lord, we pray that you create upon every dwelling place of Mount Zion,
upon every household in Breath of the Spirit Ministries, upon her
assemblies, a cloud and smoke by day and the shining of a flaming fire
by night.  For your word promises that upon all the Glory shall be a
defense and a Tabernacle for a shadow in the daytime; from the heat and
for a place of refuge and a cover from storm and rain.

Lord, We Thank You and Praise You for this Glorious Covering You have given us! And for Your Heavenly Refuge and Protection!

Sing unto us a song of touching Your vineyard, fence us in LORD, and gather out the stones, establish Your winepress within our spirit, heart, mind, body & soul

Look and we will bring forth grapes, good grapes and not wild…

Do not take away Your Hedge of Protection, Do not take down Your Walls from around us… and we shall remain and lock the doors behind us.

We purpose in our hearts to be taught, to be teachable, to be discipled, to do and to hear… with love,

We shall not be moved…

We decree and declare that as Your People

We will have knowledge and not captivity.

We Thank You LORD, that Your Honorable men and women are full and satisfied and

Your multitudes are well watered in our houses, in our land and in our sanctuary. LORD, We exalt You in Our Houses and only You shall be exalted in judgment and sanctified in righteousness. Open our eyes, increase our discernment that may we never be among those that call evil good and good evil, that put darkness for light and light darkness,

We cast down all pride and haughtiness, We command our flesh to be humble, yielded, still, Create a right spirit within us, that we are not wise in our own eyes, and prudent in our own sight…

We will not put bitter for sweet and sweet for bitter.

We pray that all God’s people are not deceived by the thoughts and the cares of this world to think themselves wise in their own eyes or prudent in their own sight.

In all this Lord,

We give thanks to You alone,

Our Father.

Amen!

Praying from the Book of Isaiah, Ch 30

Even when I have tasted the bread of adversity and the water of affliction, you have not removed my teachers from me, neither will they be hidden from my eyesight.

I Thank You LORD, my teachers were never removed and never hidden.

Your spiritual gifts were never withheld from me

and that daily you draw me closer into wisdom, knowledge and understanding.

I Thank You that there are no clouds between us, and that my prayers move straight to Your Throne.

Amen…

Announcing The Selection for Our Next Book Club Reading…

Between God and Man by Abraham Joshua Heschel (1907-1972)

Reading begins: November 24, 2021 Ends: January 7, 2022

Heschel puts forth the question, “Does the worth of wonder merely consist in its being a stimulant to the acquisition of knowledge? Is wonder the same as curiosity? He proposes to us that, knowledge is not the beginning of knowledge, but an act that goes beyond knowledge… it is an attitude that never ceases.”

Heschel suggests that our sense of wonder [and awe] has declined. I agree. However, I know we can recover it!

He concludes that, ” life without wonder is not worth living,” finding that, “What we lack is not a will to believe, but a will to wonder.”

As we begin our journey through his book, consider the level of awe from which you approach the world each day? Do you marvel at the creation miracle that we continue to experience day by day? Can you see and sense the hand of God throughout creation?

Are you able to cut past the noise, the indifference, and the difficulties and still gaze in radical amazement at the workings at the hand of God?

Would you agree with Heschel’s claim that the way to faith leads through acts of wonder and radical amazement? What are your thoughts?

Join us as we explore these depths and experience the awe of wonder between God and man.

In the Meantime….

Remember This Torah Training Assignment:

Look for the Awe, the Wonder, the Essence of GOD within every person that you encounter this week and during this Season of Hanukah. Practice finding the awe of God within every person, within every experience and discover for yourself whether or not wisdom increases, while blocks to insight are removed.

Everyone is welcome to post their comments below as we read through the text together and share our thoughts and ideas!
