  1. Psalm 19:14 Let the words of my mouth, and the meditation of my heart, be acceptable in Your sight, O LORD, my strength and my redeemer.

The question was who is he speaking to?
David is speaking directly to God, specifically, YHVH; the LORD, whom he calls my rock/ my strength and my redeemer.

    What is he speaking about?
    David is praying that both:
His words, what he says, and His thoughts, meditations, what he thinks in his heart. would be pleasing and acceptable to God.

    Pattern:
After praising God through creation Psalm 19:1–6 and His Word Psalm 19:7–13, David responds with personal surrender, asking God to purify his speech, thoughts, and motives.

Our understanding would be true worship is not only what comes out of our mouths but also what is happening in our hearts before God. See Proverbs 4:23; Matthew 12:34.

    Proverbs 1:23 says:
Turn at my rebuke; surely, I will pour out my spirit on you; I will make my words known to you.”

The question was who is speaking?
    Wisdom is speaking Proverbs 1:20–23.
Wisdom is personified as a woman crying out in the streets.

    Who is Wisdom?
In the immediate context, Wisdom represents God’s divine wisdom and instruction being offered to people. Many Christians also see Wisdom as foreshadowing Christ, who is called the wisdom of God 1 Corinthians 1:24.

    The next question is
Who is the spirit being poured onto?
The phrase “my spirit” refers to the spirit, breath, disposition, or influence of Wisdom.
God’s wisdom, understanding, and instruction being imparted to those who repent and listen.

    Who receives it?
Those who turn and listen and respond at Wisdom’s rebuke and repent and respond and answer to God’s correction.

The understanding I receive is that God’s Wisdom is calling people to repentance and promising to impart understanding, insight, and revelation to those who heed the call. It can compare in pattern to Proverbs 2:6; Isaiah 55:3; Joel 2:28.
