A while ago, I asked a few of my students to send me their favorite verse in the Bible. I received one reply citing Psalm 109:4 as their personal favorite!
Attached is the insight I shared with Scholar Karen, regarding her favorite Bible passage.
I pray that this teaching is a blessing over your new year in 2026 as well.
Halleluyah!!
I want everyone to consider that it’s not just your character, nature or name that speaks of your spiritual identity. It’s the Word that speaks back in to you and resonates with your spirit. Passages of scripture that stay in your heart. Verses that are always on the tip of your tongue and often decreed and declared as you pray.
These are the Words of GOD that have been hidden in your heart. They are a part of you and there’s a reason for that. Embrace them fully. They reveal a great deal about your relationship to GOD. They tell you about your position in Him, how GOD speaks to you.
You love this passage of scripture the most because GOD is speaking to you personally.
A while ago, I asked a few of my students to send me their favorite verse in the Bible. I received one reply citing Psalm 23:4.
Attached is the insight I shared with Scholar Lisa, as her favorite passage in the Bible!
If this verse speaks to you as well, allow me to share this message with you as a blessing over your new year in 2026!

A while ago, I asked a few of my students to send me their favorite verse in the Bible. I received two replies citing Jeremiah 29:11.
Attached is the insight I shared with Scholar Erskine and Scholar V. Jesse, who both selected this passage of scripture as one that speaks to them the most! If this verse speaks to you too, allow me to share this message with you as well.
God Bless You!

As the deer panteth after the water brooks, so panteth my soul after thee, O God. Psalm 42:1
Did you know that when the deer drinks from the brooks of living water, their scent becomes masked?
King David knew. The Sons of Korah knew. The Chief Musician, Maschil understood. The Children of Israel knew this also.
When hunted by prey or injured, the deer heads for streams of living water. Their survival instincts direct them to the place where they know the predator can not find them.
Just drinking from the water covers their scent. Amazing!
Scripture ALWAYS has a reason for every word, every phrase, every detail of the message that is given to us. Scripture is not dead history. It does not contain “old or outdated information.” It could just be, that we are so disconnected from some parts of nature that we no longer possess information that connects us to understanding its precepts.
In days of old, the connection between the deer drinking and our soul taking a drink, would have not only connected us to the imagery of thirsting for GOD. It would have also connected us to the imagery and understanding of fleeing from our enemies to a natural source of protection.
So too, by divine design, when we shelter in the Presence of the Most High, drinking from the Living waters He provides we are hidden from the snare of the fowler, the hunters, the predators, those that try to destroy us and seek our lives for a prey.
Just remember….
All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness: 2 Timothy 3:16
May all of your enemies that come against you, be confounded and cast into a state of derision every time or any time they attempt to track or trace you in the realm of the spirit or here on earth. Continue Daily, Drinking from the Fountains of Living Waters, the LORD has provided for you.; to heal you, replenish you, refresh you and revive you. To keep you, preserve you whole and complete, to provide for you till all of His expected plans have been fulfilled on your behalf. Amen.
And David spake unto the Lord the words of this song in the day that the Lord had delivered him out of the hand of all his enemies, and out of the hand of Saul: 2 Samuel 22:1
David knew when the moment called for a song! and GOD honored all the children of Israel for the songs they sung to honor Him and mark the moment with a message of music and song unto His Name!
It’s time to get ready to sing! It has been time already. We can feel it. We Know it!
This is the set time to write our songs of praise and worship…
The Lord [is] ready to save me: therefore we will sing My Songs to the stringed instruments all the days of our life in the House of the Lord. Isaiah 38:20
In that day shall this song be sung in the land of Judah [and in YOUR LAND, the land of ___________________]; We have a strong city; salvation will God appoint for walls and bulwarks.Isaiah 26:1
Ye shall have a song, as in the night when a holy solemnity is kept; and gladness of heart, as when one goeth with a pipe to come into the mountain of the Lord, to the mighty One of Israel. Isaiah 30:29
And the ransomed of the Lord shall return, and come to Zion with songs and everlasting joy upon their heads: they shall obtain joy and gladness, and sorrow and sighing shall flee away. Isaiah 35:10
The stars are gathering in Tanach and The King awaits a song from You!
Each one of us has a song to sing unto the LORD. Write Yours in the Season of Elul.
Before, After, or During a trial, a test, a battle, a victory, etc. the Prophets, Priests and/or Kings wrote a Song of praise and worship to GOD!
They knew the power of praise and worship and they understood how to shift the atmosphere giving thanks, praise and honor to the LORD GOD ALMIGHTY who moved on their behalf.
This Elul, let’s take a page out of the book and learn from them and follow their path of instruction.
Isn’t their a song of praise in your heart that you would like to offer to GOD for the year behind or the year ahead?
What is Your Song?
1 Chronicles 23 tells us that King David organized the temple musicians with 4,000 Levites assigned to the “Service of Song.” Amen.
I’m sure there is a song in each one of us, who dwells with the LORD! So, this Elul we are not only writing the vision, we are writing the song! Amen.
Immediately, Remember and Give Praise for your Victories!
