A while ago, I asked a few of my students to send me their favorite verse in the Bible. I received one reply citing PSALM 24:10 as their personal favorite!

Scholar Lisa, I can easily see why this is your favorite verse in scripture! You exemplify such care and dedication to those you pray for and those that you cover in prayer continually. You place their hand in His and connect them to the King of Glory through your kindness and caring nature.

I want everyone to consider that it’s not just your character, nature or name that speaks of your spiritual identity. It’s the Word that speaks back in to you and resonates with your spirit. Passages of scripture that stay in your heart. Verses that are always on the tip of your tongue and often decreed and declared as you pray.

These are the Words of GOD that have been hidden in your heart. They are a part of you and there’s a reason for that. Embrace them fully. They reveal a great deal about your relationship to GOD. They tell you about your position in Him, how GOD speaks to you.

You love this passage of scripture the most because GOD is speaking to you personally.
