JOHN 3:15

That whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have eternal life.

MARK 4:38

And he was in the hinder part of the ship, asleep on a pillow: and they awake him, and say unto him, Master, carest thou not that we perish?

  1. Sometimes we don’t think about the consequences when we are rejecting the word of God. We will be without excuse about learning the word and doing what we have learned. We have a responsibility that supersedes what we will blame someone else for. The reminder is that we all give an account of ourselves and what we did with the truth that we have had right at our fingertips through the written word of God. A scripture for that is, 2 Timothy 2:15 “Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth.” Study also means to be diligent, for us to make an earnest effort, and do more than just casual reading. This is an excellent chart and can keep us in remembrance of our personal responsibility. As well as a reminder, NOT to look for excuses – but to apply what the Word has given us to see Kingdom results.
